Jiang Weisong is an all-around scholar calligrapher and seal carver whose accomplishments range widely from ancient Chinese paleography to hermeneutics,study of ancient Chinese,study of epigraphy,and study of calligraphy and painting.His handwriting integrates different types of Zhuanshu(seal character),Lishu(official script),Xingshu(running script),and Kaishu(standard script),which is a harmonious and creative integration of art and academic study in calligraphy.He has become the master in Jin calligraphy after Luo Zhenyu and Wu Changshuo.
