摘要
从表面上看,跨文化交际中所产生的交际失误是由语言的使用引起的。然而,语言代码仅仅是文化系统的一部分。人们在价值观等方面的差异会导致他们在编码过程、言语和非言语行为和语言的使用规律等诸多方面产生差异。文章从中西价值观的差异出发分析和解读跨文化交际中的某些交际失误。
It seems that the misunderstandings in intercultural communication are caused only by the language used.However,language is just one of the codes in culture.The differ- ences in the value systems will cause differences in the encoding process.This paper analyzes some intercultural misunderstandings by using the differences in the value systems.
