语言符号的象似性对英语语法教学的启示

象似性是认知语言学的一个重要课题,是语言相对于任意性的另一个基本特征。不少语言学家已从句法、语篇和语用等层面揭示语言符号的象似,对索绪尔语言符号任意性进行有力补充。象似性在一定程度上揭示了语言的规律,对英语语法教学有一定的指导意义。

Iconicity belongs to cognitive linguistics.Some linguists have explored iconicity through the aspects of syntax,text,pragmatics and so on.Iconicity is a complement to Saussure's arbitrariness,showing linguistic principles to a certain degree,and can pro- vide guidance in English grammar teaching.
