摘要
本文首先说明我国外语词汇研究及教学的现状,探讨了词汇被忽视的原因,指出外语教学中流行的交际法有忽视词汇教学的弊端,旨在说明词汇习得应该成为培养交际能力的中心。
This paper illustrates the present status of vocabulary teaching and research in our country,explaining the reasons why vocabulary is ignored.It points out the drawbacks of Communicative Teaching approach,which is popular in foreign language teaching,in order to explain the value of vocabulary study and why vocabulary teaching is very impor- tant to improve the foreign language communicative competence.
