跨越两重世界的精神探求——柏拉图的《洞穴寓言》与叶芝的诗歌《驶向拜占廷》比较

追求和逃亡是文艺作品中一以贯之的主题。柏拉图和叶芝分别在他们的作品中创造了两个世界:一个虚幻的,一个真实的;一个物质的,一个精神的;一个短暂的,一个永恒的。在两部作品中,作者都描绘了从一个世界到另一个世界的旅程,而这种旅程被赋予了双重含义。本文对两部作品进行了比较分析,说明其共性,揭示出作品中体现的精神探求主题。

Exploration and escape are constant themes in literary works.Plato and Yeats both cre- ate two worlds in their works:one illusory—the other real;one material—the other spiritual; one transient—the other permanent.In both bodies of the works,the authors use double meanings to describe the journey from one world to the other.This paper compares the two works of both authors,showing the similarities and pointing out the theme of spiritual explo- ration.
