摘要
本文从语用学的"面子保全理论"、"间接言语行为理论"、"礼貌原则理论"、"自我保护原则理论"等多个视角阐述了委婉语在高校师生交际中的重要意义,并以非英语专业研究生英语教学为例进行分析,提出了师生实际交际中使用委婉语的具体策略。
This thesis aims to observe the importance of euphemisms in instructor-learner com- munication from a variety of pragmatic theories including Face-saving Theory,Indirect Speech Act Theory,Politeness Principle and Self-defensive Principle.Via an analysis of instructor-learner communication in non-English-major-graduate English teaching, the thesis offers some strategies in using euphemisms.
