关联回指是一种普遍存在的语言现象。其主要特征是:所指对象在语篇上文中未明确提及,但可根据语篇中的已知信息推知出来。本文先讨论相关的回指语类型;然后分析关联回指结构如何受特定语用因素的制约;最后述评几种解释模式。
Associative anaphora is a universal linguistic phenomenon.The main characteristics are as the following:the referent has not been explicitly mentioned in the prior context, but can be identified according to the information given in this discourse context.This paper sets out to discuss the types of anaphor involved,then analyses pragmatic con- straints on associative anaphora patterns,and finally gives a brief account of some in- terpretation approaches to such anaphora.
