感谢言语行为的得体性研究

致谢是和谐类的言语行为,本质上是礼貌的,得体的使用自然是关键。而感谢言语行为的研究多侧重于静态的条件分析和跨文化对比分析,本文则以顺应论为理论框架将感谢言语行为的得体性理解为一种顺应性,即感谢言语行为的得体运用是一个动态的、受顺应驱使的一个过程。在此过程中,受惠人在感谢言语行为语言形式和策略层面上作出一定的选择去顺应整个致谢过程中的交际语境以实现该言语行为的得体运用,从而促进交际的成功,最终以利于建立或维持和谐的人际关系。

Thanking as a convivial speech act is polite in essence.Appropriateness is,therefore, the key to its use.In the past,study of the speech act put priority on the static or con- trastive analysis such as analysis of its conditions and its cross-cultural use.But this essay focuses on appropriateness in exploration of the speech act.Appropriateness of thanking is understood to be adaptability under the guidance of Adaptation Theory by Jef Verschueren.More precisely,appropriate use of the speech act is a dynamic and adaptation-driven process in which the speaker makes linguistic and strategic choices of thanking to adapt himself/herself to speaker and hearer's mental world,social world and physical world.This allows the speaker a realistic or potential benefit from the hearer so as to promote successful communication and eventually establish or main- tain harmonious interpersonal relationship.
