论交际中语言间接度的制约

间接语言以礼貌、婉转的方式间接地表达交际意图,常易于被接受,因而被认为最具恰当性。文章指出,语言的间接度制约着交际目的的实现,并从四个方面分析了语言间接度对交际的制约。分析表明,说话人在交际中应把握语言的间接度,只有语言的间接度适度,才有助于交际成功。

Indirect speech is considered proper and easily acceptable in communication,for it conveys communicative goals in a polite and tactful way.The paper points out that the degree of indirectness inhibits the realization of communicative goals,and analyzes the inhibition of the degree of indirectness in communication from four aspects.The conclusion is that only a proper degree of indirectness makes communication possible.
