“中介理论”与大学英语教师的中介角色

根据学者们关于教师中介作用已有的调查发现:教师对中介作用意识不深,学生对教师中介作用的课堂行为认可度不高。为了进一步加强大学英语教师中介作用意识并有效地发挥其中介作用,本文分析了中介理论的特征以及对现代教学模式的重要意义,强调大学英语教师在教学中承担的中介角色应当是学生知识建构的中介者和帮助者,同时还探讨了教师中介作用实施的策略。

Researches on the teacher's role as a mediator have revealed that some teach- ers are not aware of the effect of mediation and that students are not satisfied with teachers' mediation activities in a classroom.To raise college English teachers' con- sciousness of their roles as mediators and to help them effectively take up this role, this thesis analyzes the characteristics of the theory of mediation and its significance in contemporary models of education.This thesis also points out that college English teachers are mediators and facilitators in students' learning process,and discusses strategies that teachers could use in implementing this role.
