Based on construction example of Taiping River Bridge,technology of straight threaded and equal strength rolled reinforcing bars with peel rib jointing is used in bridge pier.The machines,materials and construction technology of reinforcing bars vertical jointing are introduced in detail.It proves that the jointing technology has many advantages,such as ensuring jointing quality and construction process,improving construction environment and efficiency and so on.
