介绍了最新光纤通道扩展技术FC-BB-3_GFPT。FC-BB-3_GFPT是INCITS正在研发的光纤通道扩展标准FC-BB-3四种映射方式的一种,它可以更好地实现存储区域网(SAN)在光传送网(OTN)上的扩展。文中着重介绍了它的功能和应用。

This paper introduces the technology of Fiber Channel extension which is named as FC-BB-3_GFPT. FC-BB-3_GFPT is a working draft American National Standard of Accredited Standards Committee INCITS.It defines four distinct Fiber Channel backbone mappings.FC-BB-3_GFPT is one of them.FC-BB-3_GFPT can realize SAN extension over OTN.This paper willdiscuss main function and application of FC-BB-3_GFPT.
