In this article, the author introduced the definition of the market power first, then based on some assumption and predigest ion, at the method of qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis, analyzed the market power during nodal pricing and zonal pricing simulative. In this paragraph, the author calculated the net payment of the generator in nodal pricing and zonal pricing in inelastic demand curve, through comparison to explain which pricing mechanism can restrain the exercise of the market power efficiently.
