摘要
本文依据认知心理学中有关记忆结构及语言学中有关词汇知识定义与分类的相关理论,以西北民族大学部分非英语专业二年级学生为对象,对其英语词汇学习策略进行了调查研究。统计结果表明,本校学生最常用的策略为机械重复记忆策略,多数元认知策略及与语境相关的深加工策略很少被广泛使用。
Based on the relevant theories from both cognitive psychology and linguistics: the information-processing model, the depth-of-processing hypothesis and definition and types of vocabulary knowledge, the author made an investigation into vocabulary learning strategies used by non-English majors at North-West Minorities University. The statistical results showed that rote-learning strategies were most commonly used by the students, while most metacognitive strategies and context-oriented cognitive strategies were seldom used.
