摘要
This paper sets out to describe the notion of context, especially the context value from the perspective of the Relevance Theory (RT) to see that they are something essential in communication and then relates them to listening processes. Some longer conversations from the latest TEM4 are analysed to see if they are better in testing listening abilities. Implications are drawn for teaching listening with the idea of context values and relevance awareness.
本文从关联理论的视角探讨语境价值,并把关联语境价值观点运用于听力理解过程研究,着重分析了英语专业四级考试听力理解部分将原来的小对话换成长对话的理论与实际意义,认为长对话能够给考生提供更多的语境效果,从而使考生能够在语境中筛选出最佳相关信息,回答考题,这种考题也更加真实有效。通过对听力考试的分析,作者还提出了关联语境价值对语言听力教学的启示。
