From Shangzhou to Feidu——Jia Pingwa' s Cultural Connotation

文中从文化的视角切入,全面分析贾平凹小说创作中带有规律性的问题,解读贾平凹的文化心理,阐述其小说的文化意义。贾平凹钟情于传统,又不拒斥外来文化,表面上有一种中西互补的风貌。然而从其作品中可以看出"传统"使之跳不出去束缚,而又沉溺于传统文化之中无力救赎世俗的沉沦。文化价值立场的既定性和模糊性,使他的小说的文化批判显得苍白无力。

In the view of culture, the regularity in Jia Pingwa's novels is analyzed to explore his cultural psychology and elaborate the cultural significance. Traditional and alien cultures are seemingly combined together, but his novel can't be free from the tradition. His fixed and indistinct cultural views make his cultural comments weak and less convincing.
