唠叨话与面子保全论

Nagging and Face-saving Theory

从语用学的角度,根据Brown和Levinson提出的面子保全论,对唠叨话进行深层分析探究。根据交际意图不同,唠叨大致可分为两类:一是要求他人改变态度甚至是行为的唠叨;二是宣泄情感的独白式的唠叨。而第一类唠叨常常直接威胁到对方的消极面子和积极面子而没有采取补救措施,使得听者感到厌烦而导致交际不能正常顺利地进行。

Based on Brown and Levinson's Face-saving Theory,this article discusses the speech act of nagging.According to the intention of communication,nagging can be divided into two types on the whole: nagging whose intention is to change the hearer's certain attitude or action;nagging whose intention is just to express emotion.This article focuses on the fist type,at the convenience of discussion.The article supposes that the nagger often directly threatens the hearer's positive and negative face without any remedial measure,which annoys the hearer and retards the progress of communication.
