随着改革开放的日益深化,高校图书馆传统的期刊管理工作已经受到严峻的挑战,不能适应形势要求。“读者是上帝”已广为共识。因此,冲破陈旧观念,开拓新的途径,发挥主观能动性竭力满足“上帝”的要求,势在必行。实践证明“期刊短期外借”是一种切实可行的办法。

With the development of reform and open to the outside world,the traditional university library's periodical managemant,which can't adapt to situation,meets severe challenge,what has been well known is that “Readers are God” so it's vital to fulfill God's need by breaking out-of-date thoughts,exploiting new ways and developing subjective ability.It has been proved that borrowing periodicals temporarily is really a feasible means.
