对清华大学2001—2006年在各省招生名额的分析

Annual Provincial Quota of Tshinghua University,A Multilevel Study

用多水平模型对清华大学2001—2006年在全国各地的招生名额分配进行分析,结果显示,六年来在各地的名额分配差异显著,部分省份的名额显著低于全国平均水平,部分省市的名额显著高于全国平均水平。建议对有关高校招生指标在各省的分配情况进行进一步分析。

The study was to explore the potential unequal provincial quota of key unviersity in yearly national university admission for government policy making. 2001-2006 provincial quota of Tshinghua University was analyzed with referring the total number of last year's high school student in each province and municipal city. Both 2 level binomial logistics regression and 2 level poisson regression model show the quota was significantly unequal among provinces,some provinces,especially those are located in middle and west part of China's Mainland, have been found with lower quota than the average level. The study imply the current annual provincial quota of key university need to be adjusted to met the economic development needs in middle and west part of China's Mainland,which is the latest national policy proposed by Chinese central government.
