江苏省教育会是近代中国最重要的民间社团之一。该会自1905年成立至1927年解散,积极响应时代呼唤,出于保护和促进新式教育的目的与保守势力相抗争,并在民国时期成为政府和社会之间的有力协调者,成为影响当时教育改革的重要民间力量。

Education Association of Jiangsu Province was one of the most influential voluntary associations in the modern history of China. It was established in 1905 and ended in 1927. For the purpose of protecting and advancing new-style education, Education Association of Jiangsu Province fought with the standpatters, and acted as the forceful coordinator between the government and the society in Republic of China, and eventually became a crucial nongovernmental force influencing the educational reform at that time.
