摘要
毕业设计是大学本科教育阶段最后一个重要的教学环节,但近年来日益流于形式。事实上,这一困境不单纯是由外部因素造成的,主要应从毕业设计本身找出症结所在。对工科或近工科专业而言,社会需要两种不同类型的人才—研究开发型和工程应用型。针对前者,毕业设计可与学生的创新设计、课程设计相结合,采取灵活的学分计算方式,东北大学、中国农业大学和对外经贸大学中美国际管理学院提供了一些可借鉴之处。提高解决实际问题的能力则是工程应用型人材在进行毕业设计时要解决的主要问题。为此长江大学、五邑大学、东北大学等创造了新的毕业设计模式,使学生具有参与工程实践和实习的足够训练。
Graduation design is the last important step for regular college course. But it seems to get in trouble recently. In opposite to the generally opinions which attribute the situation to outside factors, the graduation design should responsible for the difficulty itself. In fact, there are different kinds of goal, being research and engineering expertise, for engineering course. Dongbei University, Chinese Agriculture University and other institutes have provided us with some useful experience for the development of the research fellow. On the other hand, the major target of education of engineering expertise may lie in the application ability. Changjiang University, Wuyi University, and Dongbei University, therefore, have already created some new models for graduation project so as to offer their students sufficient training opportunity.
