摘要 Solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) is an advanced system that generates electricity in a clean and efficient way. It is considered to be one potential technology to replace conventional gas engine. The history, principles and structure of SOFCs were outlined. The progress of cell components (electrolyte, cathode, anode and interconnect) were discussed in detail. Several typical categories were enumerated for each part. The emphasis was given to the introduction of the emerging materials and technologies during the last decade.
