世界上没有哪一个国家的绘画艺术,能象中国画这样对线赋予了如此众多的含义。如果失去了对线的打造, 那么中国画本身的艺术生命力必将消亡。作为中国画特定的语言符号体系——线是画家的情感地移入,生命流淌的血液, 是积一笔乃至千万笔“贯气”的生命之线。

There is not any other country like China that can give lines so manymeanings. If less of lines training, the Chinese painting must be lost its charm. As theunique language symbol system the line is the way that Chinese painters rest their emotions on it and it just like the fluent blood of the art' s life.
