High frequency induction contact reactive brazing of aluminum to stainless steel

摘要 A new ideal using contact reactive brazing paste for the close joining of aluminum to stainless steel in composite electro-thermal cooker was put forward. Aluminum electro-thermal tube to aluminum sheet and aluminum sheet to stainless steel sheet were fully joined by Al-Si eutectic phase engendered by eutectic reaction between the interlayer Si and base Al. Rely on the preventative and retardant effect of the reaction liquid between the brazing paste and the base, Al 13Fe4, AlFe, AlFe3 fragile compounds between aluminum and stainless steel were restrained, which results in thinner reaction layer Al 13Fe4 and better strength of the joint. Brazing using a reaction brazing paste can realize control of brazing filler metals and automation of brazing process, and carry out convenient assembly of a complicated component.
