The trade in the electricity market needs transparency of transmissi on grid information. Thus, in research and practice of the electricity market, i t is an important problem how to calculate, decide the electric power transfer c apability, and consider the relations among technique, economy and market. Focus ing the electric power transfer capability, this paper reviews the problems rela ted with it for current research situation. On the basis, it is summarized and a bstracted.
