Bai Xian-yong is a rather influential writer. His works establishes his identity in the literary world of Taiwan for its unique perspective in narrating and a mixed way of expression of both the east and the west. The author of this paper tries to interpret his late works in a favorable way so as to get a higher degree of understanding the connotation of the works and meanwhile have a further study of the writer.
