摘要
It is questioned whether network-based communication aids the development of grammatical competence in teaching English as a foreign language. We studied the on-line communication between students of a Chinese university and a Japanese university and found that network-based communication holds similar potential for the development of grammatical competence as does oral interaction.
在英语作为外语的教学中,通过网络进行的实时在线交流活动对提高学习者的语法水平是否有效尚无定论。我们对一所中国大学和一所日本大学学生间的网络实时交流活动进行了跟踪研究,发现网络在线交流活动和口语交流活动在若干方面具有相似性,因而能够有效提高学习者的语法水平。
