加入Contact number信息来预测蛋白质二级结构

ADDITION OF CONTACT NUMBER INFORMATION CAN IMPROVE PROTEIN SECONDARY STRUCTURE PREDICTION

摘要 蛋白质的功能是由其结构决定的,其中蛋白质二级结构是其3级结构的基础和重要的组成单元。本文采用结构字和contact number数建立多样性源,同时利用二次判别法来预测1个序列片段中心残基的二级结构。对CB513库中81个蛋白进行检验,结果发现增加contact number数建立的多样性源,其预测精度Q3提高了1.12%.这表明c,ontact number信息有助于提高预测二级结构精度。 The function of a protein is mainly determined by its tertiary structure.The prediction of protein secondary structure as an intermediate step plays an important role in tertiary structure prediction.In this paper,we used the method of increment of diversity combined with quadratic discriminant analysis(for short IDQD) to predict the structure of central residue for a sequence fragment.The method is based on tetra-peptide structural words and contact number information.Addition of contact number information,the accuracy of Q3 is improved by 1.12% in 81 proteins from CB513 database.The results show that addition of contact number information can improve protein secondary structure prediction.
