About the Thinking of Art

尝试探讨艺术的一些问题,首先要从否定“艺术是什么”这一传统的形而上学的提问方式开始;在中止这一提问的前提下,才能追问艺术之所以存在的意义;这种追问必须要建基于人的艺术活动之上,进而才能对艺术家、艺术作品、艺术活动等传统的问题进行探讨,最后从人的心灵出发,将艺术的意义问题归结到对心灵的思考。

To probe into some issues of art, we ought to begin from denying the traditional metaphysical question way of “what is art”. On the premise of discontinuity in this question, we could question the meaning of art existence, and this kind of question must be based on art activities of human beings, then go on to the discussion of traditional problems, such as artist, artistic works and art activities etc. From the soul of man, the question of meaning of art is placed into thinking of soul.
