Factory 798, a former wireless equipment plant, may seem a novel location for the arts community to set up shops, but the transition has been completed with the unit becoming a globally-recognized center.
50年代德国人设计的宽大厂房被艺术圈里的人看好。自2002年前后开始,一批艺术界人士陆续被吸引到这里建工作室、开店,有的甚至把家也安到了这儿。就这样,一座众人眼中普普通通的工厂成了今日北京一个时尚、前卫的艺术区,一个艺术家们的乐园。
