Popularizing information knowledge and improving the ability to use information are not only what the majority of women urgently need but also are effective ways to help them adapt to social informational development. In recent years, women's federations at every level have been playing active roles in this field. On May 21-22, another such project, the Chinese Women's Internet Promotion Activity, was launched in Beijing.
普及信息知识,提高信息化运用能力,既是广大妇女的迫切需求,也是提高妇女科技素质,帮助妇女适应信息化社会发展的有效途径。近年来,各级妇联组织积极探索和推进城乡妇女信息化普及工作。最近,“中华妇女网上行推进活动”又在北京隆重启动。
