合作学习在高校英语教学中的运用——合作学习课堂上教师言语行为的实证研究(英文)

摘要 The potential weaknesses of lecturing as a mainstream teaching mode in EFL at college level are apparent. There is a growing acknowledgment that combined with whole group instruction and individual work, cooperative learning should be a regular part of the week's classroom instruction. It is predicted that in the cooperative class, the teacher reduces drastically the use of lecturing, giving instructions and asking questions about known information. Her communication pattern created a much more intimate and pro-social classroom context. The result from an experimental study revealed that students have more opportunities to be exposed to peer language output and participate more actively in language communication in class, which is beneficial to students' language acquisition. 高校英语教学以教师讲授为主导的教学模式潜在的缺点已经越来越明显。人们逐渐认识到,与面向全班授课和学生独立学习相结合,合作学习应该成为外语课堂教学的常规部分。我们预测,在合作学习课堂上,教师会大大减少讲授、提供信息、就已知信息提问的时间,其交际模式创设了一个更加亲密、更加富有社交性的课堂情景。本实证研究结果表明,学生在合作学习课堂上有更多机会接触同伴语言输出,更加积极参与课堂语言交际,这对学生的语言习得非常有利。
