摘要
The paper begins with an analysis of the reasons for inefficient reading which prevents students from reading with adequate speed. Then it goes on to offer solutions of the problems. It is suggested that attention should be paid to material selection, previous knowledge of text structure and reduction of intensive reading time. Specific steps for improving reading speed are explicitly described. Finally special focus is given to other reading techniques such as prediction practice, scanning and skimming in order to improve the efficiency of fast reading.
本文首先分析了影响学生有效阅读理解的不利因素,如学生阅读中的一些不良习惯,较难的预读材料以及有限的快速阅读训练。随后,作者提出了克服这些不利因素的办法,建议加强阅读教材建设,编写出适合学生水平的快速阅读材料来。阅读材料的编写要注重体裁的问题,熟悉不同体裁的阅读材料可有助于快速把握文章大意,学生可以从阅读相同主题的阅读材料来熟悉阅读材料的文章结构和词汇,在此基础上进行快速阅读训练。作者还建议在精读教学中减少课堂讲解时间,从而有足够的时间进行快速阅读训练。最后,作者提出了有效的提高快速阅读的方法,认为不仅要进行基础快读训练,还应有计划、有步骤地进行预测略读和跳读训练,要利用对文章题目或摘要的讨论来培养学生的预测能力,为快速阅读做好准备。
