摘要
Since its first appearance, the Communicative Approach has been successfully applied to ELT in many countries and won great acclaim. China's English Language Teaching (ELT) began to adopt CA in the late 1970's, but its application hasn't produced as much communicative competence in learners as expected. There are still a lot of problems facing teachers of English. This paper is devoted to a comparison between CA and traditional FLT method, an investigation of the problems existing in China's College English teaching, and an offering of some possible solutions to them, with a special concern over the application of communicative practices in the language teaching process.
交际法在许多国家的英语语言教学中获得了极大的成功。从上个世纪70年代末开始交际法在我国英语教学中被广泛使用,但学习者的交际能力并没有获得预期的效果,对于外语老师来说还有许多问题尚待解决。本文试图对交际法和传统的英语教学法进行比较,探讨大学英语教学中存在的问题,并提出一些相应的解决方案。
