摘要
This paper reviews a one-semester experiment on integrating CALL in teaching intensive reading to first-year graduate students at Beijing Institute of Technology. The subjects consist of 118 students in the experimental group and 119 in the control group. The results reveal that compared with a teacher- dominated approach with the control group, the web-based English instruction method with the experiment group has done a better job in enhancing students' productive skills, satisfying their individual needs, motivating their autonomous learning and arousing their interest in learning English.
本文报告我们在北京理工大学硕士生英语精读课进行网络辅助教学的实验。实验分四个实验班(118人)和四个对照班(119人)。一个学期的实验结果表明:与教师讲解为主的课堂教学相比,网络辅助英语教学在提高学习者的语言产出能力,满足学习者的个别需求,激励学习自主性以及提高学习兴趣等方面效果更为显著。
