This paper analyzes the complementary and competitive relation- ship between WCDMA and WLAN and the strength brought to mo- bile operators by their convergence.Then it outlines 3GPP's solu- tions to the convergence of WLAN and WCDMA,and elaborates on ZTE's convergence solution.
