In recent years,reserves of natural gas in China has increased by a wide margin and market demond for natural gas has been rising day by day,which is a good chance for develop- ment of natural gas and transportation markets and also is an new economic growth point in PetroChina.Present situation of gas re- source in China and PetroChina has been analyzed and the pros- pects of natural gas resource has been forecasted.Some important gas construction projects in'the 10th 5 Years Plan'in China has been introduced chiefly and present situation and development prospects of the natural gas market in China has been expounded, By which,reasonable measures and advices in development of gas markets and optimization of gas resource allocation have been put forward.
