进入新世纪,中国加入 WTO,中国石油石化业面临更加开放的市场环境,在带来加速国际化经营机遇的同时,其总体影响不可轻视。同时,石油石化企业各业务领域也将受到冲击。石油工业的发展要贯彻"立足国内、开拓国际、加强勘探、合理开发、厉行节约、建立储备"的24字方针。石化工业的发展要跟踪世界石化发展趋势,以结构调整为主线,以提高竞争力为核心,提升炼油,发展乙烯。

After WTO accession,petroleum and prtro- chemical industries will be faced with more open marketing cir- cumstance,which will improve opportunities in global marketing and also produce influences that should be stressed.At the same time,all related fields of petroleum and petrochemical industries also will be attacked.Petroleum industry should develop on the basis of 24-word-principle of'stand domestic,open interna- tional,strengthen exploration,reasonably develop,practice strict economy,construct reserve.Petrochemical industry should im- prove refinery and develop ethylene by following the tracks of de- veloping trend of world petrochemical industry,adjusting struc- ture as main direction,improving competitive power as the core.
