The Project of Direting Water from South to North Will Bring Great Benefit to China

简要介绍了 5 0年代提出的东、中、西南水北调路线和详细介绍了近 10年出现的大西线调水工程的规模、效益、优越性和对我国今后发展的深远意义。

The author restrospects the three channeling routes raised 50 years ago—the East,the Middle and the West—and introduces in detail the Grand West Route Scheme raised in last 10 years which advocates to divert water to North not only from the Yangtze River and the its tributaries,but also from the Lancang River,the Nujiang River and the Yarlung Zangbo River.The large scale,the multiple functions,the great advantages,the economical,social and ecological benefits and the important meanings to the future development of China of the Grand West Route Scheme are indicated in this prper.
