To teach the new text of middle school English well, one must bear in mind the principles:1.making clear the communicative function of language 2.understanding fully the teaching goal of language 3.developing the 4 skills with the stress on the ability of reading & writing 4.making full use of visual aids and modern teaching devices 5.adopting circulatory teaching methodology 6.establishing the classroom teaching mode with the students as the center 7.permeating teaching with ideological quality education.
