Popularization of improved variety in Taiwan pomiculture and the general situation of variety introduction in Fujian

阐述了台湾果树业基本情况及其先进性——进行 3次大规模的世界性引种 ,引进的品种经过筛选研究 ,已从 1945年的 35个科、 97个种发展到 1990年的 5 5个科、 2 45个种 ,使台湾果树的产量、品质及产值都大幅度提高。

This article described the basic situation and advancement of Taiwan fruit tree industry.Three large scale worldwide introduction of fruit trees and selection and screening of varieties has resulted in 245 cultivated varieties of 55 families in 1990 started from 97 varieties of 35 families in 1945 and caused notable improvement in the output,quality and output value of pomiculture.This article also presented high quality varieties introduced from Taiwan and their growing performance in Fujian.
