With an actuate understanding of the devlopment of the world sports industry, the author puts forward that theworld sports industry should be divided into three blocs and analyses the development and research of the world sport industryfrom the perspective of the representative countries of the three blocs. Also in the article the author discusses its possibility ofChina taking the lead in the area.
