WCDMA technology standard is a third-generation mobile communication systems technology which is forwarded by Europe and Japan.Due to its advanced technology and the maturity of many operators,it has become the preferred technology standard.The core network is a important carrier to achieve important business user service.This paper first outlines the composition of the WCDMA core network,and then describes the principles and key issues of WCDMA core network planning and design,finally analyse the process of WCDMA core network planning and design.
