This article, using theories and methods of applied mechanics, analyzes the properties of marks left from prying and pressing and the manifestations of resistance by the damaged object against foreign actions. It also summarizes the common types of object structure, their functional properties and the law of formation of marks, thus providing methods and guideline for analyzing and solving such canes.
