摘要 Mean sea level (MSL) rise and the mean large tidal range (MLTR) becoming larger caused by sediment accumulation and subsidence in the areas around the Huanghe River mouth and the Laizhou Bay are presented in this paper.The results obtained from the tidal numerical simulation and the statistical observed tide data show that the relative MSL rises and the tidal range becomes larger at a quicker rate, so the marine environment and coastline of the Laizhou Bay are changing rapidly. The engineering design standard along the coasts has to be raised.
