回顾与展望——对中国家电工业发展的几点思考

在热烈的期盼和诚挚的祝福中,新年的钟声敲响了。我们随着历史的脚步,步入了一个新的千年。在这千年之交的时刻,回顾中国家电工业的征程和业绩,展望中国家电工业的前景,我们充满了自豪和自信。中国社会主义市场经济的发展和改革开放政策的实施造就了中国家电工业。20多年的历程,中国家电工业取得了辉煌成就,不仅成为了我国轻工业的支柱产业之一,也成为我国机电产品出口的重要组成部分,并为提高和改善人民的生活水平做出了极大的贡献。

After more than 20 years of development, the Chinese household electrical appliance industry has greally increased its production capability. The output of refrigerators, washing machines, air-conditioners, microwave ovens is among the highest in the world. Some well-known brand products produced by large-scade enterprise groups have dominated the domestic market. Some groups have now started transnational operation.In the 21st century, China's household electrical appliance industry should aim at transforming China from a big producer of household electrical appliances into a powerful one in ten to fifteen years, while expanding its industrial scale. It should focus on market development, technologiral renovalion and the establishment of wansnational companies.
