“腕平掌竖”考

Verification of “Horizontal Wrist and Vertical Palm”

康有为主张的“腕平掌竖”执笔法 ,自认为“始自唐人”。本文追根溯源 ,从最早论及腕法的唐代欧阳询、李世明、韩方明三人入手将他们的腕法与康有为的“腕平掌竖”之法作比较 ,发现康氏的“腕平”与唐人的“直腕”、“竖腕”、“平腕”有本质的不同。最后推断唐人的执笔法实为正确的“回腕法” ,既非康有为的“腕平掌竖”法 ,也非清人过于胶着的“回腕法”

Kang Youwei described the method to hold the writing brush as “horizontal wrist and vertical palm” and claimed that that started from those who lived in Tang dynasty.The author tries to trace the origin,and has made a close study of the earliest discussions in this field by Ouyang Xun,Li Shiming,and Han Fangming of Tang Dynasty.He compared Kang's assertion with theirs,and found there were fundamental differences between them.The author comes to the conclusion that the method the Tang people adopted was different from Kang's,and that of those in Qing Dynasty as well.
