Need survey is a part of course design. It can offer a wide range of information about learners, syllabus type, classroom activities, teaching techniques, learning goal, specific content for a course. It is an essential phase for course design. This article consists of what need survey is, method of collecting need survey and its use. It points out learning goal can be derived from need survey.
