高精度纳秒级红外量子级联激光器驱动电源 被引量:26

High-precision narrow pulse drive power for infrared quantum cascade laser

摘要 采用DSP和模拟PI控制技术,设计并研制了一种高精度纳秒级驱动电源。其硬件主要包括纳秒脉冲产生电路、恒流控制电路、慢启动电路、静电保护电路、过流保护电路等。控制方案上主要使用模拟PI算法,通过反馈控制,稳定输出电流。所研制的驱动电源脉冲宽度为15ns,峰值驱动电流为20A,脉冲上升/下降时间小于5ns。利用该驱动电源对中国科学院半导体所研制的中心波长为7.71μm的量子级联激光器进行驱动测试。结果表明,在长时间(>100h)运行中,激光器工作状态稳定,中心波长未出现漂移,驱动电流无毛刺出现,为激光器在红外气体检测中的应用提供了性能保障。 A high-precision nanosecond pulse driver was designed and developed by using DSP and analog proportional integral(PI) control technology.In terms of hardware,this system includes nanosecond pulse generator circuit,constant current control circuit,slow starts circuit,ESD protection circuit,over-current protection circuit,et al.Meanwhile,in respect of control scheme,the current stability was effectively ensured by use of simulation PI algorithm for feedback control.The driver with pulse width of 15 ns,peak drive current of 20 amps and pulse rise/fall time of less than 5 ns is achieved.With this driver,performed driving test on a QCL with a center wavelength at 7.71 μm,which is manufactured by institute of semiconductor,CAS.The results show that during long term(100 h) operation,the center wavelength of the tested QCL does not shift,and there is no glitch regarding the driving current.Therefore,the fabricated driver provides superior performance that guarantees the application of the QCL in infrared gas detection.
