Threshold-Adjustable Technique and Hybrid Architecture of DS-SS Acquisition

Several modified schemes of the DS-SS acquisition are discussed in this paper, including two threshold-adjustable techniques based respectively on serial search acquisition structure and matched filter acquisition structare, together with two different hybrid architectures which are combinations of the two conventional Structures. Analysis and comparison on their performance, complexity and applicability are also made.
